However, they are available from manufacturers like MacMemory. In the Boston area, an upgrade to 512 from 128 goes for $300 or less, depending on the vendor and who installs it. A good way to locate a dealer is to look in the newletter of your local Mac users group (assuming that it takes ads like ours does). Another alternative is to call MacMemory and ask them for a dealer in your area. By the way, you ought to consider upgrading to at least 1 Meg, since there is more and more software appearing that won't run in even 512 K!
