In reporting on the deficiencies of OS/2, he recommends purchasing a Mac over an MS-DOS machine. His reasons are: - Mac can address memory beyond MS-DOS's 640k limit - New Mac application software continues to be introduced at a dizzying pace. and... (here's the big one) - "Apple will unveil Multi-Finder, a new front-end for the Mac OS that includes some elements of multitasking." He also goes on to state that "Apple insiders suggest that enhancements to MultiFinder are onthe way and that the Mac will be capable of true multitasking, without applications upgrades, long before the IBM machines." While this would be a good week to unveil such an application (at MacWorld Expo in Boston), it surprises me that such a major item could get to the ears of this MS-DOSer before anyone on this group posted this rumor. (Or did you all sign Apple non-disclosures? :^) ) Speaking of child of J*ggl*r, have any of you noticed the new fields in the SIZE template in ResEdit 1.1B3? Happy rumor-mongering! _Mike ----- Mike Lampson Digital Equipment Corp.
