Help!!!  I am still trying to map my keyboard to dvorak.  Here's the
scoop:

I've hacked all day on my Mac SE / System 4.0 to change the keyboard
mapping, with no luck.

Hacking at KCAP and KMAP was futile (as I expected, bombs on restart).
However, KCHR seems to be a rather simply laid out "map" for
normal/shifted/command/option/etc values of characters.  I can change
these without any problem (no bombs) but THIS DOESN'T CHANGE THE
LAYOUT!!!

Help from anyone would be much appreciated.  This is making any
sense!!

p.s.:  thanks to those who sent the Dvorak/Qwerty DA, but this doesn't
work on the new system.
