His finances are very tight. The computer will be used primarily by his wife for professional purposes and by his nine-year-old daughter in whatever creative means her mind dreams up. For his daughter's sake and the thought of her using Macpaint type things the printer needs to be dot-matrix. His wife demands good quality printing for communicating with colleagues. His budget demands the most for his money. I am unfamiliar with any dot-matrix printers for the Mac other than the Imagewriter I and II. Can anyone tell me what others are available for the same price or less, for comparable or better quality? Winnie Williams Jet Propulsion Laboratory Pasadena, CA winnie@elroy.jpl.nasa.gov
