Like he said, neither I nor my employer's software seem capable of reversing
mail paths correctly.  Everything I try to send in the way of mail comes back
(usually without leaving the facility) as undeliverable.  I have found that a
reply to a news item has about a 40% chance of making it out, but a reply to
mail is at 0%.
