Lines: 23 Keywords: Electrahome, Macnifier I am looking for a way to project a Mac screen onto movie screen in a class room. Until recently the only product that I knew of was an electrahome projector. This projector cost about $3,500. Now there is a company in California, Comtrex LTD. [(714)-855-6600] selling a lcd system that sits on top of an overhead projector. Such units have been available for the pcs for a while, but this is the first one for the mac. This new system, called Macnifier, is priced at $1,700. At that price I rather go with the Macifier, however I would like to see one before purchasing. I have not been able to find one to test. The company claims to be too busy filling back orders to demonstrate it. There are no dealers yet, althought the company claims that apple reps will have Macnifiers in about 45 days. Is there any one that has seen a Macnifier working? They company claimed to show it in Boston. I would like to know how the image compares to the electrahome projector. Any information about Macnifier would be helpful. roger whitney sdsu!whitney@nosc.mil arpa ucbvax!sdcsvax!sdsu!whitney uucp
