Two folders are put in your System folder -- "DAs" and "Fonts" -- and any DA or Font files in these respective folders are auto-loaded at boot-up. You can also dynamically load in DAs, like Double Apple, but with more reliability than I ever found in Double Apple or Other... However, there are still some things I don't like: 1) MS Word doesn't recognize any of the fonts you load. Ouch. 2) My System only allows 9 DAs besides Suitcase at any one time (this may be due to a screwed-up System). However, Since you now have "dynamic DAs", it sure doesn't hurt much. 3) This is a biggie -- Suitcase has a Cmd-K key binding, which screws me up when I'm running Versaterm and using Emacs. However, I believe I can get rid of that with ResEdit (right?). 4) Something you should realize... if you have DAs that modify themselves, such as setting default values (such as the phone numbers in Qdial, preferences in DiskTop), you need to save the settings you want, THEN dump them in the autoload folder. 5) Talking Moose don't work. Waaaaah! (OK, but it doesn't work without Suitcase, either). Overall, a nice piece of work. I understand it should sell for about $30, which seems reasonable. I've been checking with MacConnection, but it isn't in yet...
