It always starts with somebody making a totally stupid remark about the 'other' machine. It ends with five thousand people cross posting flames over three newsgroups. I have no qualms boasting about MY favorite machine, but I do it over the newsgroup for that machine. This isn't to say one shouldn't correct misinformed articles on the 'other' newsgroup, but simply refraining on the embelishments a bit more would help a great deal. It gets old real fast.
