I think the logic is that if you get a bunch of machines maybe you don't need
the manuals for each machine so only order one set . Or perhaps you're gonna
run some turnkey stuff installed by the software vendor and won't need all
the manuals...  Anyways, the problem is that manuals need to be purchased
separately from machines and 'cause they sure ain't cheap people cut costs
by not buying them. The fact that manuals aren't always bundled with the
machine is much less bogus than the fact the O/S must also be purchased
separately. I mean how many people are really going to say "no thanks,
I'll write my own" :-)
