To remake lost + found using csh do:
chdir to root of desired file system, usually / or /usr
become root
mkdir lost+found
chmod 700 !$
cd !$
touch {a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h,i}{1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0}
rm !$
unbecome root
