Features I am interested in are efficiency and degree of transparency. I'm not particularly interested in a shell compiler that turns every line of the shell script into C system() function calls. I'd also like to find a compiler that would support the KSH. I've heard of only one commercial shell compiler, and I'm not sure how efficient it really is.
