I am having trouble tailoring the Xenix 286 vsh program, particularly 
creating a viable *.mnu file.

1) What is the general syntax/format of an *.mnu file?   Does this file have
   the same name as the corresponding command (Ex. finger.mnu)?

2) Where should this *.mnu file be placed?  - I tried to create a *.mnu file
   having the same name & location as the corresponding command using the
   example given in the Xenix 286's "vsh - Using Advance Features" doc but
   with no recognition.  Not even an error.  Merely the default display.

   Toying around I found that the menu.def is the source of the *.mnu stuff.
   Change the contents of this file changes the corr. vsh command display.  The
   menu.def was automatically created in my resident directory when I tampered
   with vsh.

3) How do I enter help text:  exec = <>
			      ----- 
			      Help Text Goes Here....
			      .....
			      .....
			      -----
  Is the help text set in quotes?  Delimited by five (5) hyphens?  I tried
  various formats via altering the menu.def and all were erroneous.

4) What is the general format for the menu.def?  I noticed sections separated
   by five +'s (+++++): one is a collection of system-response strings, another
   comprises of keywords and another is a collection of command formats 
   consisting of command menu prompt, fields & description.

5) Is there a way to enter comment statements in the menu.def & *.mnu files?

6) And, are there any more-descriptive documents about tailoring vsh?
