	I am currently using a Compaq DeskPro 386 and SCO 2.2.1 for    
	the 80286.  Soon to be upgraded to the 386 Operating System.
	Now Compaq has recently began delivering their DeskPro 386
	with a new motherboard.  This board has open sockets for the
	80287 and the 80387 math co-processors.  Also some cache is
	included with the new motherboard.  I have desided to upgrade
	my computer to use the new motherboard and find the SCO Xenix
	does support the cache but DOES NOT at present support the new
	80387 co-processor.  

	Question is, are there plans that anyone is aware of to begin
	support on the 80387?  Seems to me that it is a logical step
	to do so.  At present the 386 operating system supports the 
	older chip, why not the "match" for the 386?

	Now Compaq is upgrading the board with the 80387 included for
	around $1000.  I am told that I will not be able to use this
	unless SCO begins support for it.  This means I will have to
	"turn off" access to the processor until support is provided.
	The upgrade that Compaq is making is virtualy this "we will
	sell you a 80387 and give you the board swap for free".  Nice 
	but except for the cache it is a $1000 spent to do nothing.

	If anyone has any info on future support for the 80387 (dates?)
	I would appreciate any rumors on this subject.  Any responce 
	from you guys at SCO?
