SCO XENIX 386 works just fine with the 387 in my AT with an Intel Inboard 386/AT. In fact, it says "387 detected" or something similar upon bootup. Unless Compaq has wired their new motherboard in some bizarre way, I can't imagine why XENIX 386 wouldn't behave correctly with it.
