As you may recall, I have a Sun 3/260 with a monochrome and a color screen (one keyboard, one mouse). I hope to run X on both displays simultaneously and move the mouse cursor from one to the other transparently. I did receive some helpful words of encouragement. The best suggestion was to start-up an X server (and xterm) on each screen, and then use adjscreens (a Sun utility) to move the cursor between windows. Yet, I still hope to find a method for doing this without having to rely on a Sun utility. The question: Will version 11 support this type of multi-screen use? If so, I may wait till v.11 comes out; if not, I'll keep at it. (I've heard mention of multiple root windows in v. 11, maybe I can use one per display?) Thanks -- Jeff Waters
