Hey, perhaps it should be pointed out that most of the Macs in existence
don't even have a compiler, much less a C compiler.

What good does it do to send source around when most recipients can't
even compile it?

Questions like what language to use, and observing that C hasn't yet
displaced all other languages, are interesting but quite secondary.
