The 5890 is a RISC with a bag on the side in some sense ... heavily
optimized to the frequent instructions (Load, store, branch.. you know)

Yes, they are intended to be. BTW, MIPS ratings are unofficial in the
sense that we only announce relative performance to our other processors.
