You chastise Henry Spencer for belittling others publicly but then you use this kind of inflammatory rhetoric to belittle him, publicly, in exactly the same manner you accuse him of doing, calling him "seemingly intelligent" and "amazingly selfish and stupid." I thought his posting was pretty funny, and it almost certainly had a far less scabrous and more harmless intent than your rather vitriolic followup. If everyone would work at using less confrontational language in their postings, I'd at least get a lot more of the things out of usenet that I'm looking for, spending my time on usenet more efficiently as well.
