As a result, I regret that I must announce the demise of comp.binaries.ibm.pc. Aside from the major reason, there are minor reasons: (1) Very few applicants for the job -- and *none* of the correct kind, which is via discussion in news.groups (where it belongs) or comp.sys.ibm.pc (where it's relevant). (2) The majority of PC binaries are being posted in comp.sys.ibm.pc now. So: system admins, please alias comp.binaries.ibm.pc into comp.sys.ibm.pc. On September 10, I will send out the rmgroup, which should bring this discu- ssion to a close and make the net.bosses happier. It's been nice knowing you all. ++Brandon (former moderator) -- Brandon S.
