There is now a new network called Syntax Systems which is much less expensive than them. I believe their current rate is $3.50 an hour for 300/1200 baud access in prime time (evening). They offer many of the same services as the others, although their business coverage lacks. They have CB, travel, shopping, news, weather, sports, forums and clubs, a dating service, and more. They are somewhat newer than the other services, but very noteworthy nonetheless. If you want more information about them, here are some phone numbers I can give you: Voice information: 1-800-426-7795 (24 hours) Modem information: 1-800-426-3383 (300/1200 baud) The modem information number also doubles as a small BBS, an interactive forum where people interested in the service can leave and read messages from others who subscribe to the service. There is also UD and email in that area. It's quite interesting. It costs nothing to inquire, so it's worth a shot.
