I am using GNU Emacs (18.41 on VAX and SUN) quite heavy and
happily.

Now I am wondering, whether I can use Emacs to read the NEWS? I
tried 'rnews', but it was rather disappointing. So my question:

      - Is there anywhere out there a reasonable 'rnews' news
      reading frontend (perhaps comparable to 'rn')??
