View, CA Lines: 24 I while back I posted a request for information on any LISP to C translators. I recieved a number of responses. The majority fell into 1 of 2 categories. The first category was: Check out Kyoto Common Lisp. They translate into C then machine code. The second category was: No. But if you find out anything let me know. --- It seems that the main problem with Kyoto (for this application) is that it produces basically unreadable C code. The C code produced it not meant to be a translation which is then maintainable. It must be run, also, in an environment established by the Kyoto system. (Which, I believe, is quite large).
