The Cartridge for any Cannon Engine will work  in Either the Apple Laser
printer or the HP laser jet. It is possible to switch them with no trouble
at all. We used to buy HP cartridges because we had a deal with them,
which made them cheapest. It worked fine in our Apple,Laserjets and even
our Imagen 2308. Since then, we have taken to refilling the cartridges at
about half the list price. This has given us no Trouble at all either.
(We have someone else refill the cartridges for us)
