The now-discontinued HP 26053A kit upgrades a 2686A (std) LaserJet to the full 2686A Option 300 LaserJet+ configuration. You end up with dual interfaces, 512K RAM and PCL Level 4 command set. Some dealers may still have this kit in stock. The 26053A was replaced early this year by the 26054A, which expanded the RAM in the '53 kit to 2 Mbytes.
