I have the opportunity to buy either of the following used systems real cheap (<$1000), but I don't know anything good or bad about them except both companies are more or less gone. I just want a cheap <$1000 unix system for home use. HELP, are these systems OK? CODATA 3300: O.S. Unisys 3.1.1 based on V7 (is this Sys 3?) PORTS 2, +8 more with expansion card. Mem 1/2 meg expandable to 1 meg. Disk Atasi 3046 (I know about these, I sell refurbished ones). Tape Start stop Momentus(sp?): O.S. Sys 3, Sys 3.5 available (Sys 3 + Berkly enhancements) PORTS 2, +2 with each expansion card. Mem 1 meg expandable to 2 meg. Disk Atasi 3046 (I know about these, I sell refurbished ones). Tape Start stop and streaming It looks like "Momentus" might be the best systems unless you guy/gals know something I don't? Help this maybe the last system I can talk my wife into letting me buy (She still remembers the Osborne I bought 2 months before the price dropped out and they went Chp 11). send replies to bart@nscpdc Thanks in advance.
