You might want to check out the 68K project in the current Radio Electronics Magazine. $200 for "usable" 8Mhz system kit; $500 with floppy subsys, 1Mb memory, SK/DOS, etc. Has Itty Bitty Machine PC bus interface to use clone controllers for Hard Disk, extra i/o ports (board design includes 2 serial, 1 parallel), bit-map video, etc. I'm ordering one.
