I heard that a port of MINIX to the Atari 68000 machines is underway.
Does anybody know the status of this?

Check out the new release of OS9 for the Atari.  It supports reenterant
programs a big savings in memory being used by multiple users! The 1st of the
year Microware is releasing Invision for handling windows and CDROM. Each
window is considered a different device; much more convient than layered
shells for running different proceses.
