Can anybody solve my following problem ?

I use software ( HPLOT ,created by CERN's Data Handling Division ), which
produces grafics on a VT240 in tektronix 4010/4014 mode .
How do I get a hardcopy of the screen on a matrix printer ( Apple Image -
writer ) ?  The printer is not directly connected to the terminal but
is used by VAX users via a printer queue.
 It would be enough to be able to determine whether a pixel with
coordinates x,y is set or not.
