Hmm. Looks like TCP/IP from Wollongong. She should type "MAIL" first:

	$ MAIL
	MAIL> SEND
	To:	MAILER!<user@address>

	...

Provided the software is up and running, and the correct connections are
there, you *CAN* send mail to a TCP/IP site.
