Some days it just doesn't pay to log on in the morning.

Several people were kind enough to point out the error of my ways when I
recently blew it on the LINE_EDITING question.  Thanks.

Networks are wonderful.  They give you the chance to f*ck up in front of a
global audience.  As an added bonus, you get that sickening feeling as you
watch your message wend its merry way to the gateway that there's *nothing*
you can do to stop it, even if you realize you goofed .001 sec after
hitting that final <RETURN>.

Oh well.  sic transit gloria mundi . . .
