This is a fairly elementary (read dumb) question.

Is there a standard AppleTalk protocol for remote terminal
sessions?  I hear that Alisa has one that allows VersaTerm
to log into a remote VMS host on an AppleTalk net.

I would like to know where I could get a definition of
such a terminal protocol (if one has been chosen) since
there's no point in re-inventing the wheel.
