Chris, you err in not carefully reading section 5.4 of RFC959. The table
of replies to the PASS command (which must be "strictly adhered to") does
NOT include 331. I would suggest you avoid the trap of trying to support
the password change function through FTP and generate an appropriate 5xy
reply to the PASS command with text from the security package.
