Lines: 22 Keywords: TCP-IP, IBM Is there any one out there who has experience with the recent (!) announcements by IBM regarding TCP-IP for VM/CMS, IBM-PC (using 8232). Any real users already? I attended a satellite presentation by IBM. It looks like Columbia University uses that. Any one from Columbia can comment? Im specially intrested in things like - speed - how close are they to standards :-) - how well does the product interface to things like the batch monitor to do remote batch submissions? etc... - Any monitoring capability (problem isolation?) - Can Sun make use of that for NFS etc... i.e. can other products like NFS, Apollo's NCS etc run with that? (may be this is a repeat of the standards question I had earlier!) Forum.... any comments? -- Ignorance is bliss but can be embarassing at times!
