Lines: 25 Keywords: character classes, fountains Summary: or just work not done yet Wonderful game! Just tried my first. Big improvement over hack! The authors of hack and all the subsequent contributors are to be congratulated. I noticed a couple of things needing work, in my first few games, today. 1. "/{" doesn't know what a fountain is. 2. The startup screen for picking a character class shows all character classes in one part, but only the original six in the other. 3. Stepping onto a location with multiple objects just starts picking them up from the top, while "move-don't-pickup"ing onto the location, then typing "," gets the "there are several objects here..." mechanism started. I thought hack did both the same way; I certainly liked it better with queries all the time. Thanks again. If I can quit invoking demons, perhaps I'll get far enough in my explorations to report other unfinished areas of the dungeon. Kent, the man from xanth.
