In the book, "UNIX Systems Security" by Wood and Kochan, there is a program
that suppose to implement the DES encryption algorithm.  However, I have 
tried to get it to work, but failed to do so.  I do know that there is a
DES ecryption program in the USENET archives.  If anyone has a copy of it
please e-mail it to as soon as possible.
