Lines: 19 Many (many, many) moons ago my boss pulled a program called 'fps' - Fast ps - off the net and compiled it to run on our VAX 11/780. Wonderful program, I use it daily. Now we're moving Unix onto two Sun-3's (a 280 and a 260) running BSD 4.2 and I need help. 'fps' is faster because it had the current values of /vmunix pasted into the nlist table instead of having to do an nlist("/vmunix") every time. However: in order to re-compile this wonderful program for our new computers, I need the sun version of a file called 'nm'. Anyone out there able to oblige me? (Please don't make me go back to using 'ps'!) Donna Hrynkiw Systems & Computing - Kwantlen College PO Box 9030, Surrey BC Canada V3T 5H8 ....!ubc-vision!casey!donna donna@casey.kwantlen.bcc.cdn
