The sound will vary with the amount of power used by the memory board. Actually, this can be a feature. Like when you want to read a manual until a certain computation is finished :-) No really, the sound is very low and can't be heard if there are other sounds in the room. Even the sound of typing keys is enough to mask the rustle. (It sounds more like a rustling than a chirp).
