As part of my honours thesis for my BSc I am writing a source leevel debugger for the Amiga. Such a program needs more information then is available from a binary (auto vars, source line info, etc). The Manx C compiler (3.40a Developer) produces exactly what I need in the form of a xxx.dbg file on request so I want to use this for my project. The problem is that the format of this binary file is undocumented. I have written to Manx but they are unable to help (docs are not available) so I am now appealing to the net for assistance. If anyone has worked out the format of this file I would be delighted to hear from you. I am currently decyphering it myself but there is every possibility I will miss something vital (and parts of it seem rather obscure).
