I have I have a HP LaserJet Plus attached to my Amiga 1000 via a Belkin Components (Hawthorne, CA on Rosecrans Ave) cable which appears to be a standard parallel printer port interface cable (i.e. it appeared to be the same cable as the one I used to attach an Epson EX800 to the Amiga). HOWEVER, my LaserJet Plus has Option 300 installed, which is a socalled Centronics parallel printer interface. I'm not familiar with the new Series II LaserJets, but it sounds like HP makes a distinction between a "parallel interface" and a "Centronics parallel interface". HP tends to have lots of interface and cable combos. Hope this helps. BTW: Once I got my interface-cable-dipswitch settings worked out, the LaserJet works fine using Workbench 1.2, Preferences, etc. -- -- Roger Vossler TRW, Bldg O2-1395, One Space Park, Redondo Beach, CA 90278 BIX: rvossler UseNet: dragon@trwspf.trw.com ATT: 213.535.2804 ....!sdcrdc!trwrb!trwspf!dragon
