Computing Ctr. Lines: 19 I spoke with a representative from Supra yesterday. One of their parts suppliers has just gone out of business, so an essential ingredient in their 30-meg hard drives is now missing. (I think it has something to do with the controller.) As a result, they have halted shipment on their 30-meg drives TEMPORARILY. They expect to find a new supplier "within a few weeks". Their 20-meg and 60-meg drives are still being shipped as usual. A related note... the 2-meg RAM expansion that can be installed inside the drive will be ready in "60 to 90 days". They have not yet begun development on the 4-meg RAM expansion (even though it has been advertised for months...). I have no connection with Supra. --- Dan Barrett ins_adjb@jhunix.UUCP barrett@hopkins-eecs-bravo.arpa
