I went to a little Amiga show in Palo Alto last weekend where A2000's were being sold (and delivered!). I asked this very question of the rep from MicroBotics, and he showed me an A2000 with a StarBoard 2 in it. He had taken a StarBoard with Upper Deck and Multifunction card (2Mb and 68881), removed it from it's metal box, snapped another board onto it and put it into the first Zorro slot of the A2000. Despite its thickness, it didn't seem to block access to any of the other slots. This new board was almost empty. It just seemed to be there to juggle the wiring. Anyway, there it was (A2000 with 3Mb and 68881), working and impressive. He said the card was expected to cost about $40 and be available (you guessed it) real soon now.
