The give a short review of OS-9 and when ask about X-Windows, here is what Microware said: "Right now, it is a debatable issue. They feel that although X-Windows is fine for larger, more powerful computers, it's just too slow and bulky for smaller, 68000 based systems without special hardware to handle it. That doesn't mean that they won't port it, but they would like to consider any alternatives first." The editor went on to mention that a program called IDRIS is coming out with a UNIX (r) like operating system and that they would support X-Windows.
