We have been using it for over a year and a half, and are perfectly
satisfied its performance and their support. It comes with a supplementary
english manual (in addition to the main german manual) that is more than
adequate for anyone familiar with TeX/LaTeX. The package includes a terrific
DVI previewer/printer drivers. They include printer drivers for almost every
dot-matrix printer worth owning, and a HP laserjet printer driver. No
PS driver as yet (though i have'nt checked with them lately), but the PD
dvi->ps driver that comes with the unix TeX distribution is perfectly
happy with the DVI files produced by StTeX. The previewer will work
with a monochrome monitor only. The TeX program itself is a tos application
so it runs with almost any kind of monitor. The package includes all
the relevant macros/tfms/fonts for TeX, LaTeX, SliTeX and BibTeX. A
hard disk is HIGHLY recommended. If there is enough interest i can
post some locally developed/PD utilities for StTeX to
comp.sources.atari.st.
