Any long time Atari owner knows that you don't wait for Atari to bring out
anything more than the (excellent) hardware...

If you want Unix on your ST, buy Mark Williams C for the pittance of
$180 or so (may be much lower in your area)..., microemacs, diff, make,
etc., etc., etc. a shell that supports piping and redirection,
Unix calls in C, full support for TOS and GEM... mwc even comes with
qsort, shellsort and bessel functions in the libraries.
