There are a few things that we don't know. Such as, do the boards have to be in any particular slots? Do they have to be in adjacent slots, or can they be scattered? Must we reconfigure something, or does the VAX recognize the presence of the boards automatically? Also, how much of a shutdown do we have to do? I will turn the keyswitch to OFF, but should I also throw the power supply switch (marked with 0 and 1, visible when you pull the VAX assembly out.) Or should I unplug the Vax? Please reply, preferably by E-mail, to oldeng@gpu.utcs.toronto.edu. Thanks in advance. --Tak Ariga -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Internet: amos@csri.toronto.edu oldeng@gpu.utcs.toronto.edu BITNET: oldeng@UTORGPU Phone: (416) 978-8883 {office} ++ Dictionary of Old English == University of Toronto == Toronto, Canada ++ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
