Does anyone know how to get dBase to read data from a barcode reader ? Any info about getting dBase to read data from something other than the keyboard & disk would be relevant. 2. I'm looking for a "query generator" for dBase. By "query generator" I mean something that will enable the user to access dBase's relational & logic operators, WITHOUT having to use dBase's syntax directly. This is needed for a (compiled) application, for a user with no knowledge of dBase. It would be nice if the user would be presented with a set of names, corresponding to (but NOT identical to) filenames & fieldnames. I would like to know if something like this exists - either as a commercial product, or something that someone has developed for his/her own project. Please email, if there's enough interest, I'll post a summary. Thanks, Rony Shapiro BITNET: ronys@wisdom ARPA: ronys%wisdom.bitnet@wiscvm.ARPA CSNET: ronys%wisdom.bitnet@csnet-relay UUCP: ...!ucbvax!ronys%wisdom.bitnet
