Obviously IBM is afraid of what the 386 will do to the rest of their product line and is holding the Model 80 back. (this is sarcasm) Here's a question for you people who like to second guess IBM's choice of the 8088 for the first PC. When did Motorola come out with the equivalent of the 8251, 8253, 8259, and 8237? (this assumes you know what they are and their importance) -- I speak for myself, not the company.
