Please reply to: G.Eustace@nz.ac.massey thanks Being located in New Zealand has some major disadvantages. We get the USENET news by a circuitous route, but it does get here. However to minimise costs the 'source' groups are not forwarded on to us. Neither do we have a cheap mechanism for accessing the various Public Domain archives that exist on various machines in the U.S. I would be interested in hearing from anybody in the U.S. who would be prepared to act as a go between, and transfer some of these software archives to tape (9-trk) and airmail them to me. Or in the case of files intended for IBM PC's to airmail them on floppy discs. Have no fear we are quite happy to pay for any media and its postage.
