You might want to check out IX/370, a Unix port for the System/370 architecture that runs very nicely as both a standalone system or a dial-in virtual machine under VM/SP. Believe it or not, IBM did a fairly good job -- it can even use 3270 style terminals in a reasonable fashion. Admittedly, it is slow, but translating a lot of this stuff second-level makes anything slow. Disclaimer: I've installed IX/370 once. It's a bitch to install, but now that it's up, it seems to be a resonable system. It's as good as HP-UX ever was.... -- David Boyes ARPA: 556%OREGON1.BITNET@WISCVM.WISC.EDU Systems Division BITNET: 556@OREGON1 University of Oregon Computing Center UUCP: dboyes@uoregon.UUCP
