Hmm - what *kind* of CRC errors?? Module CRC's or sector CRC's?? If the latter, there have been scores of problems associated with running older type disk controllers at the 2MHZ rate.. Also, you might want to swap drives (pardon the simplicity in that, but you did explicitly refer to /d0/cmds in both cases..).
